RESUMEN: Desde finales del siglo XIX nuestra sociedad en un continuo cambio se encuentra ante una necesidad cada vez mayor de comunicarse con personas de distintos lugares del planeta. Es por ello que surgen métodos de enseñanza de segundas lenguas basadas en teorías que se nutren de la psicología, la pedagogía y el propio desarrollo del ser humano; y nuestras leyes educativas han de adaptarse a este nuevo contexto globalizado.
ABSTRACT: Since the late nineteenth century society in continuous change is facing increasing need to communicate with people from different parts of the world. That is why emerging methods of second language teaching based on theories that feed on psychology, pedagogy and the development of human being; and our educational laws have to adapt to this new global context.
