AICLE y pronunciación: un proyecto de investigación

Abstract

ABSTRACT The present final degree project consists of a research project focused on Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and pronunciation. The fact that teachers have traditionally drawn little attention to pronunciation in foreign language learning, and the fact that CLIL methodology has been spread all over Europe, and more particularly in Spain in recent years, lead us to consider the need to investigate whether there are positive CLIL effects in the field of pronunciation as compared to traditional Foreign Language teaching. Therefore, we will design a longitudinal research project in discrimination and perception of English pure vowel sounds by two groups of Spanish native students, one of them with CLIL students, and the other one with Foreign Language students. Finally, we will compare the expected results for both groups.
