Abstract

RESUMEN El presente trabajo examina y compara la presencia de estereotipos tanto de género como de etnia en tres libros de texto pertenecientes al área de las Ciencias Sociales en el curso de 5º de Educación Primaria. Cada libro pertenece a una editorial diferente. Con el análisis realizado y los resultados obtenidos, se llega a una serie de conclusiones como son la escasa presencia de las mujeres y las etnias en los libros de texto.

ABSTRACT This Project examines and compares the presence of gender stereotypes as much as ethnics in textbooks from the Social Sciences área in 5th Primary Education. Each textbook belongs to different publishing house. Once the analysis has been realysed and the results have been obtained, we will come to a series of conclusión, such as the lacking presence of womens and ethnics on the textbooks.
