RESUMEN Este trabajo fin de Máster tiene como finalidad el estudio de la evolución, características y principales ideas de una de las escuelas historiográficas más importantes del siglo XX, la Escuela francesa de Annales. El trabajo se centrará en tres aspectos básicos que son el estudio de cada una de las tres generaciones que representaron la Escuela de Annales, haciendo un análisis de sus principales líderes y la aportación que cada uno de ellos hizo al campo historiográfico; la llegada de la influencia e ideas de la Escuela de Annales a España y su difusión; y la influencia que hoy en día nos queda de la Escuela de Annales en los manuales que se emplean para la enseñanza de la Historia en la educación Secundaria, más concretamente en la etapa de bachillertato.

ABSTRACT This pages take as a purpose the study of the evolution, characteristic and main ideas of one of the more important historiográphys schools from the XXth century, the French School of Annales. The work will center on three basic aspects which are: the study of each of the three generations who represented the School of Annales, doing an analysis of its main leaders and the contribution that each of them made in History; the arrival of the influence and the ideas of the School of Annales in Spain, and its diffusion; and the influence we have nowadays which the School of Annales left in the text books that are used for the history education in the Secondary education, more specifically in the baccalaureate stage.
