Dentro de la historia de la criminalidad, el bandolerismo se ha revelado como un tema sustancioso para investigar la marginalidad y las disrupciones provocadas por la implantación del capitalismo. El presente Trabajo Fin de Máster de Investigación analiza este delito social en la comarca histórica de los Montes de Toledo durante el siglo XIX. Se ha seguido un triple proceder: reseña de la historiografía sobre los bandolerismos, españoles en su mayoría; caracterización del bandolerismo monteño a partir de las biografías de seis bandidos de la zona; y análisis de caso mediante el examen de procesos judiciales. Los resultados constituyen la primera investigación en historia social que ha realizado el autor del Trabajo.

In the history of crime, banditry has emerged as a substantial issue to investigate the marginality and disruptions caused by the introduction of capitalism. This Master's Thesis Research examines this social crime in the historical region of Montes de Toledo in the nineteenth century. It has followed a triple procedure: review of the historiography of banditry, mostly Spanish; characterization of monteño banditry from the biographies of six bandits in the area, and case analysis by examining court cases. The results represent the first investigation in social history made by the author.
