Abstract

En la actualidad, el inglés no se limita únicamente a ser el idioma en el marco de la comunicación internacional (Crystal, 2003), sino que también se ha alzado como la lingua franca académica (Jenkins, 2009; Mauranen et al., 2010; Seildhofer, 2005), siendo empleado para impartir contenidos académicos en numerosos contextos educativos. Del mismo modo, el translenguaje es un fenómeno que ha ganado terreno en los últimos años, convirtiéndose en un concepto destacado (Cenoz & Gorter, 2020; García & Lin, 2016; Wei, 2018).
