The author realizes an extensive work on the “Anthropometry of the Maconde tribes” who live in a Northern Province of Moçambique, in the surroundings of the Rovuna River. Based on various average values and other importante elements, wchic are presented in numerous tables, the author contributes with this importante and interesting work, on the Macondes’tribe, for the average type of this tribe, to be in this case well defined.

O Autor realiza um extenso trabalho sobre a “Antropometria da Tribo Maconde”, que habita ao norte da Província de Moçambique, nas proximidades do Rio Rovuma. Tendo por base vários valores médios e outros importantes elementos que apresenta em numerosos quadros, contribui com este importante trabalho sobre os Macondes, para que o tipo médio desta tribo, fique assim bem definido.
