Abstract

Trata-se de recusar a subordinação a figurações teológicas – entre as quais as do universalismo abstracto e do economicismo – que, no século XX, foram sendo convertidas na ideia de uma máquina absoluta, designada como “economia do conhecimento”, a qual tem como programa o desenvolvimento da tecnociência no sentido da aquisição de um poder no qual a humanidade se ultrapassa. A hipótese de concretização desse poder coloca-se com o modelo económico moderno, embora já antes do Renascimento, nos começos do século XIV e XV, a máquina-deus e a máquina-enriquecimento se apoiassem reciprocamente. Acumulação de riqueza e tráfico moderno de escravos reúnem-se como signos de “des-humanidade” (impiedade) que participam do começo do capitalismo
