The present investigation work, describe the activities that have been performed during the curricular internship at Câmara Municipal de Loulé, within the scope of the conclusion of the 2º year Master's Degree in Cultural Heritage and Museology in the Conservation and Rehabilitation area, which focused on the conservation and restoration of a collection from an archaeological excavation.The objective of this report was create some bases relating to restoration and conservation likely to be applied in archaeological objects and create orientations about preventive conservation that can be put into practice in different materials and in various situations, from field to storage. It also intends to demonstrate the relationship between the various subjects they study and explore the historical and archaeological culture of a material collection. From the excavation carried out in the street Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco, in Loulé, in addition to showing the importance of using the various disciplines for the study and treatment of different types of materials, in this case metals, glass, bones and ceramics, it also refers the importance of conserving and restoring after delivery to the museum before putting it in reserve or exhibiting, the problem and degradation types that we might find and how to solve them. It will also show you a little more about the work of a restorative conservator, with archaeological artfacts. In this case, the interdisciplinary use for the study of different materials in order to be possible a better conservation of cultural assets. It also intends to make known the work carried out during the six months in which the collection was worked and studied in terms of conservation and restoration, all the process from the moment it arrives at the museum, to its storage, control and handling.

O trabalho de investigação presente, descreve as atividades realizadas durante o estágio curricular na Câmara Municipal de Loulé, no âmbito da conclusão do 2º ano do Mestrado de Património Cultural e Museologia na vertente de Conservação e Reabilitação, que incidiu sobre a conservação e restauro de uma coleção proveniente de uma escavação arqueológica.O objetivo deste relatório foi criar algumas bases relativas a conservação e restauro passíveis de serem aplicadas nos objetos arqueológicos e criar orientações sobre conservação preventiva que possam ser postas em prática nos diferentes materiais e nas diversas situações, do campo ao armazenamento. Também pretende demonstrar a relação entre as diversas disciplinas que estudam e explorar a cultura histórica e arqueológica de uma coleção material. Proveniente da escavação realizada na Rua Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco, em Loulé, além de mostrar a importância do uso das várias disciplinas para o estudo e o tratamento dos diferentes tipos de materiais, neste caso metais, vidros, ossos e cerâmica, refere também a importância de conservar e restaurar após a entrega ao museu antes de guardar em reserva ou expor, dos tipos de problemas e degradações que podemos encontrar e como solucionar.Vem também dar a conhecer um pouco mais sobre o trabalho de um conservador restaurador, com objetos arqueológicos. Neste caso, o uso interdisciplinar para o estudo dos diferentes materiais de modo a ser possível uma melhor conservação dos bens culturais. Pretende também dar a conhecer o trabalho realizado durante seis meses em que a coleção foi trabalhada e estudada ao nível da conservação e do restauro, todo o processo desde o momento da sua chegada ao museu até ao seu armazenamento, controlo, e o seu manuseamento.

Relatório de Estágio do Mestrado em Património Cultural e Museologia apresentado à Faculdade de Letras
