[EN]: We study between year variation of the nutritive value of 10 abundant species (five grasses and five forbs) in the Pyrenean pastures comparing data from 1985 and 2000. A significant correlation for the contents of the different chemical components between years has been found for the whole of studied species. The species maintain the order of importance in the two years for all the chemical components, except for lignin and N. In general, the quality of the species was better in 1985 (higher N and mineral content, lower fibre content). Differences among years could be explained by an increase of temperature and precipitation during the summer of 2000. Results support the consistency between years of the pastoral indexes based on the species quality.
