[ES] Se ha estudiado el comportamiento de diez mezclas de leguminosas y gramíneas, en un suelo muy alcalino y en zona cuya precipitación media anual es 310 mm., con temperaturas extremas de 40° C y - 15° C. El ensayo ha durado seis años. Los resultados muestran que las mezclas de variedades de Medicago sativa resistentes a la sequía, especialmente la variedad Adyta, seleccionada en la Estación Experimental de Aula Dei, con Agropyrum intermedium, son las más productivas y persistentes.
[EN] The hay production, plant persistence and plant survival of ten combinations of legumes and grasses grown on the dryland of a extreme condition of the Ebro Valley (Spain) were studied and compared. The mixtures on a basis of dryland varieties of Medicago sativa, specially var. Adyta, jelected in Aula Dei Experiment Station, and Agropyrum intermedium have proved to be the most produaive and better adapted to the local conditions of soil and climate.
