Abstract

[EN] At the Misión Biológica de Galicia (CSIC) in Pontevedra (Northwestern Spain) a program of germplasm prospection of the specles Pisum sativum (pea) was started in 1987. More than 200 accesions are now maintained in the colIection. In the year 1997, seeds belarging to 41 lines from 12 landraces were sown. On the basic of agronomic traits related to plant architecture, yield and precocity, two selections were effected, leaving finally as the result of the present study nine lines from five pea populations.
