Abstract

[ES] Se describe en el presente trabajo el proceso de obtención de dos nuevas variedades de alfalfa de secano (Adyta y Adalfa) cuya introducción a las rotaciones de cultivo en los secanos del Mediterráneo con influencia continental puede ser muy interesante. Se demuestra asimismo que, en los procesos de mejora de plantas, la flora local puede tener mucha importancia. ya que constituye un valioso material de origen para los trabajos de selección.

[EN] The breeding process of two new dryland alfalfa varieties is shown. Introduaion of these two new varieties is recommended in dry land continental climate áreas of Spain. Utilization of plant indigeneous material is advised.
