Highlights of the poultry production systems research program, focusing on recent research. More than 70 expert researchers conduct production systems research related to poultry. State-of-the-art facilities including alternative housing systems, a high health flock and special lines of birds at our research station provide a foundation for much of the work. Industry and government support this leading edge research. Current research focuses bird health and welfare, food safety, and flock nutrition and productivity.
