The using of reading strategies expresses a significant process in terms of providing information on how to approach the text. Understanding of what is read is regarded as a period including the active and complex processes. Researchers has determined that there is a substantive corelation between the level of using the reading strategies and the comprehension of reading. Reading strategies included in metacognitive skills signify the process in which the skills of the students stand out. Considering that there is a strong correlation between reading strategies and the comprehension of readnig, the using of reading strategies, especially in the areas in which the comprehension skills are mostly shaped such as literary teacher, stands a significant skill. In this study, the level of using reading strategies of the preservice Turkish Language and Literature teachers have been examined. It has been modelled in examination and raster pattern.
Okuma Stratejilerinin kullanılması metne nasıl yaklaşılması noktasında bilgi vermesi bakımından önemli bir süreci ifade etmektedir. Okuduğunu anlama aktif ve karmaşık süreçleri içeren bir alan olarak görülmektedir. Araştırmacılar, okuma stratejilerini kullanma düzeyi ve okuduğunu anlama arasında anlamlı bir korelasyon olduğunu tespit etmiştir. Üstbilişsel beceriler içerisinde yer alan okuma stratejilerini kullanma öğrencilerin kendini kontrol etme becerilerinin ön plana çıktığı bir alanıdır. Okuma stratejileri ve okuduğunu anlama arasında güçlü bir ilişki olduğu düşünüldüğünde özellikle edebiyat öğretmenliği gibi anlama becerilerinin en üst noktada şekillendiği bir alanda okuma stratejilerini kullanma önemli bir beceri olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Türk dili ve edebiyatı öğretmen adaylarının okuma stratejilerini kullanma düzeyleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma tarama deseninde modellenmiştir.
