Personnes descendantes de migrants racisées face aux micro-agressions

Abstract

Nous proposons une reflexion analytique basee sur les resultats de deux recherches qualitatives anterieures realisees au Quebec (Canada) portant sur des personnes descendantes de migrants. Dans le cadre d’interventions en contexte d’interculturalite, on doit rester a l’ecoute parfois d’un silence des personnes racisees. Que signifie ce silence ? Nous montrons ici que le silence de ces personnes face a des micro-agressions recurrentes est une forme de resistance a l’exclusion qui conduit a la fois a renforcer des liens d’appartenance et a fragiliser un lien social global, cela dans un contexte macrosocial inscrit dans un processus sociohistorique. Dans cette perspective, il s’agira d’articuler les plans subjectif et social en faisant usage d’une approche theorique interdisciplinaire ainsi que d’une epistemologie et d’une methodologie specifique.
