Sigara (Ver mi co r ix a) lateralis (Leach, 1817) RECORDS. Tuscany: Case Boschetti, spring pond, 710 m, Gaviserri, Stia (AR), 24.IV.2006, FT & GM leg., 1 F macr (TCFI); Podere Pratalino lake, 965 m, Bibbiena (AR), 25.IV.2008, GM & FT leg., 1 M macr (CCFI). Remarks. This is a widespread pioneer species (Palearctic, Afrotropical and Indian regions), and probably the most common corixid in Italy. This is the first record for the Park.
