Este libro presenta trece historias relacionadas a las abejas del monte que han sido narradas por personas de dos comunidades indígenas de la Chiquitanía boliviana. Sus experiencias, creencias, conocimientos, han sido plasmados en cada uno de estos cuentos ilustrados. Visibilizan los variados encuentros que existen entre las personas y este grupo de insectos tan representativos de los bosques secos de Bolivia.
This book presents 13 tales related to the bees of the forest, told by people of the indigenous communities of the Chiquitanía in Bolivia. Their experiences, believes, and knowledges are depicted in each of these illustraded stories. They visualise the diffrent encounters between people and this group of insects, which stand so representative for the Bolivian dry forests.
