Contained within the 4th Edition (1974) of the Atlas of Canada is a collection of four maps. The first map shows the value, by census division, of hay and fodder farm sales for 1960 to 1961. The second map shows the size and extent of seeded acres, by census division, for hay and fodder. Both of these first two maps are accompanied by supplementary texts giving the total values for Canada, the provinces and the territories. The third map shows, by census division, the acreage of improved and unimproved pasture for 1961. This map is accompanied by a supplementary text providing the total improved and unimproved acreage for Canada, the provinces and the territories. The last map shows the value of cattle farm sales, by census division, for 1960 to 1961 and is accompanied by a supplementary text providing the total value of farm sales for Canada, the provinces and the territories.
