Ética de la responsabilidad en las organizaciones deportivas

Abstract

Quien toma decisiones en una organización deportiva tiene dos responsabilidades diferentes: por un lado, es responsable del deporte y aquellos que desean practicarlo. Por el otro, debe ocuparse de que la organización obtenga beneficios. En el siguiente sentido de: a) de que existan criterios éticos a partir de los cuales sea evaluada la responsabilidad; y b) que en el sentido de que se tenga libertad de decisión al menos entre dos alternativas. El artículo trata de poner de manifiesto cuáles son los criterios éticos fundamentales para las organizaciones deportivas y también examina si es posible que haya libertad de decisión en un sistema de libre mercado donde la competencia es la clave de su funcionamiento. Se comienza por analizar una jerarquía de criterios éticos: 1) Las implicaciones de los derechos humanos en el deporte; 2) la ética del orden económico y en el orden económico; tanto la una como la otra pueden limitar la libertad de decisión; 3) mediante el uso del concepto de stakeholder se hace una descripción del sistema deportivo en tanto que espacio de regulación de intereses contradictorios y de posiciones éticas; 4) por último, se plantea la necesidad de una ética de las organizaciones y después se examinan los problemas éticos específicos y los retos que surgen en el proceso de toma de decisiones dentro de las mismas.
