Abstract

Résumé Cet article est consacré aux réceptions françaises des philosophes pragmatistes américains, Richard Rorty et Richard Shusterman. Sont analysés certains débats suscités par leur travail (notamment avec Jacques Bouveresse, Pascal Engel ou Pierre Bourdieu), mais plus généralement il s’agit de mettre en lumière les phénomènes d’incompréhensions et les malentendus qui sont caractéristiques de la circulation internationale des idées.
