Abstract

Prise en charge et imputation, ou la prise en charge a responsabilite limitee... L'article distingue d'une part la prise en charge, pour les contenus propositionnels que le locuteur/enonciateur premier (L1/E1) assume pour son propre compte, parce qu'il les juge vrais, d'autre part l'imputation, pour les contenus propositionnels que L1/E1 attribue a un enonciateur second (e2). Dans ce cas, l'enonciateur second n'est pas vraiment l'auteur d'une prise en charge, puisqu'il ne dit rien ; mais L1/E1 presuppose que l'enonciateur second a effectue anterieurement une quasi-prise en charge[, considerant comme vrai ce contenu propositionnel, pour e2]. L'article revient ensuite sur les limites du critere de la verite dans la prise en charge en montrant qu'il faut lui adjoindre la trace des relations intersubjectives et interactionnelles entre enonciateurs. L'ensemble de ces criteres entre en jeu dans la facon dont L1/E1 se situe par rapport aux points de vue imputes : soit en les prenant en compte sans les prendre en charge (neutralite), soit en les prenant a son compte (prise en charge par accord avec le point de vue impute[, que le L1/E1 fait sien]), soit enfin par non prise en charge (c'est-a-dire par l'explicitation d'un desaccord avec le PDV impute).
