Ovidio y la compilación de la General estoria

Abstract

Dans l’etude de l’historiographie alphonsine, apparaissent trois axes d’analyse fondamentaux : la transmission textuelle des œuvres, l’etude et l’identification des sources et la description de la methode compilatoire. Les specialistes qui se sont interesses a l’Estoria de Espana et a la General estoria ont obtenu leurs resultats en developpant les trois approches. L’Estoria de Espana a ete etudiee avant, de sorte que l’on peut tester les conclusions sur la General estoria. Solalinde entreprend l’etude de la General estoria I et II dans les annees 30 pour en faire une edition critique. Ses methodes sont reprises et amplifiees par Diego Catalan puis par Ines Fernandez-Ordonez. Dans ce travail de synthese, nous confrontons les conclusions generales de ces critiques a celles que nous avons tirees de l’etude d’Ovide dans le texte castillan. Les theories anterieures se trouvent confirmees et enrichies par les exemples que nous avons etudies.
