Karmelitański inwentarz muzyczny z 1739 roku

Abstract

W Archiwum Karmelitów w Krakowie na Piasku odnaleziono nieznany dotąd inwentarz muzykaliów z 1739 roku. Zanotowano w nim tytuły około 260 kompozycji, które znajdowały się w zbiorach muzycznych krakowskiej kapeli karmelitańskiej w I połowie XVIII wieku. Jest to bardzo cenne znalezisko, gdyż zasadniczo zmienia naszą wiedzę o działalności kapeli karmelitów. Jedynym źródłem informacji o jej repertuarze był dotąd inwentarz z lat 1660–1684, opublikowany przez Tadeusza Maciejewskiego na łamach „Muzyki” w 1976 roku, odnotowano w nim jednak zupełnie inne tytuły kompozycji. W inwentarzu z XVIII wieku większość tytułów mszy, litanii, motetów, hymnów i koncertów kościelnych zapisano bez podania nazwiska kompozytora. Wśród nielicznie zanotowanych nazwisk pojawiają się kompozytorzy polscy lub aktywni na terenie Rzeczpospolitej w I połowie XVIII wieku, tzn. Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki, Jacek Szczurowski, Paweł Sieprawski, Józef Kobierkowicz, Szymon Ferdynand Lechleitner, nieznany z imienia Pszczeński, a także twórcy środkowoeuropejscy: Johann Valentin Rathgeber i Šimon Brixi. Inwentarz przynosi informacje o kilku kompozycjach tych autorów, nieodnotowanych w innych źródłach.
