Abstract

La educaci?n superior se estructura en programas formativos dise?ados para la adquisici?n progresiva de conocimientos que capaciten al estudiante para el ejercicio profesional. Los estudios universitarios se apoyan en recursos de informaci?n necesarios para la formaci?n acad?mica y la investigaci?n cient?fica. Las universidades ofrecen servicios de alfabetizaci?n informacional a trav?s de sus bibliotecas para formar a los estudiantes en t?cnicas y recursos documentales. Disponen tambi?n de asignaturas oficiales en las que se ense?a a los estudiantes a seleccionar, emplear y aplicar recursos de informaci?n. El objetivo de la investigaci?n es analizar los marcos de competencias informacionales y proponer un modelo pedag?gico propio para estudios universitarios. La metodolog?a sigue tres fases: revisi?n sistem?tica y an?lisis de casos, dise?o e implementaci?n de un modelo y evaluaci?n y comunicaci?n del modelo. Los resultados de la investigaci?n aportados son: un marco terminol?gico de la ense?anza por competencias documentales, el Marco de Adquisici?n de Competencias Documentales en Estudios Universitarios (MACDEU) y un modelo pedag?gico de ense?anza-aprendizaje basado en cuatro fases: pensar, conocer, aprender, hacer. La conclusi?n principal es que la combinaci?n de un marco de competencias, un modelo pedag?gico y un programa educativo es el m?todo para la formaci?n universitaria en competencias documentales.

O ensino superior estrutura-se em programas de forma??o destinados ? aquisi??o progressiva de conhecimentos que capacitem o aluno para o exerc?cio profissional. Os estudos universit?rios s?o apoiados por recursos de informa??o necess?rios ? forma??o acad?mica e ? investiga??o cient?fica. As universidades oferecem servi?os de alfabetiza??o informacional por meio de suas bibliotecas para treinar os alunos em t?cnicas e recursos documentais. As universidades tamb?m possuem disciplinas oficiais nas quais os alunos s?o ensinados a selecionar, usar e aplicar recursos de informa??o. O objetivo da pesquisa ? analisar os marcos das compet?ncias informacionais e propor um modelo pedag?gico para os estudos universit?rios. A metodologia segue tr?s fases: revis?o sistem?tica e an?lise de casos, desenho e implementa??o de um modelo e avalia??o e comunica??o do modelo. Os resultados da investiga??o apresentados s?o: um quadro terminol?gico para o ensino por compet?ncias documentais, o Quadro para a Aquisi??o de Compet?ncias Documentais em Estudos Universit?rios (MACDEU) e um modelo pedag?gico de ensino-aprendizagem baseado em quatro fases: pensar, saber, aprender, fazer. A principal conclus?o ? que a combina??o de um quadro de compet?ncias, um modelo pedag?gico e um programa educativo ? o m?todo para a forma??o universit?ria em compet?ncias documentais.

Higher education is structured in programs designed for the progressive acquisition of knowledge to prepare students for professional practice. University studies are supported by information resources necessary for academic instruction and scientific research. Universities offer information literacy services provided by libraries to instruct students in information skills and resources. Universities also have official courses that teach students how to select, use and apply information resources. The objective of the research is to analyze the frameworks of informational competencies and to propose a pedagogical model for university studies. The methodology is divided into three phases: systematic review and analysis of cases, design and implementation of a model, and evaluation and communication of the model. Research results provided are a terminology framework for teaching by documentary competencies, the Framework for the Acquisition of Documentary Competencies in University Studies (MACDEU) and a teaching-learning pedagogical model based on four phases: thinking, knowing, learning, doing. The main conclusion is that the combination of a competency framework, a pedagogical model and an educational program is the method for university training in documentary skills.
