Abstract

Pour comprendre ce qui est en jeu dans l’action de formation, il nous semble nécessaire d’interroger le concept selon quatre points de vue (philosophique, sociologique, psychologique et épistémologique) en rompant avec une approche syncrétique. Le croisement de ces différents points de vue doit permettre, ensuite, de rendre au concept une complexité signifiante, en construisant un cadre conceptuel dépassant la juxtaposition de champs théoriques hétérogènes. Former un enseignant, c’est former un professionnel à une fonction sociale complexe. On devra envisager la mise en oeuvre du processus de formation en visant la transformation consciente des modes de pensée et d’action de l’enseignant à partir de l’identification des conflits et contradictions auxquels il est soumis dans le pilotage du fonctionnement du système didactique.
