Abstract

Effectuée sur plusieurs dépôts sédimentaires contemporains de la fréquentation humaine de la cavité, cette première analyse révèle l'existence d'une végétation steppique dans les environs de la grotte. Essentiellement constitué par des graminées et diverses composées, le paysage comprenait aussi quelques essences supportant bien le froid telles que le pin, le genévrier, le saule, le bouleau. Ces arbres devaient être probablement cantonnés dans des zones relativement protégées des rigueurs du climat comme les pieds de falaises ou les rives de cours d'eau, par exemple.
