Le Psylle du Gommier rouge (Glycaspis brimblecombei Moore) introduit sur les eucalyptus de France (Hemiptera, Psyllidae)

Abstract

Cinq especes de Psylles ont envahi les plantations d'eucalyptus europeens : Ctenarytaina eucalypti, C. spatulata, C. peregrina, Blastopsylla occidentalis et Glycaspis brimblecombei. C. eucalypti, C. spatulata et C. peregrina etaient les seules presentes en France a ce jour. La decouverte de G. brimblecombei en France continentale et en Corse est la suite logique de sa dissemination recente dans le bassin mediterraneen. G. brimblecombei a ete repere en premier dans le Var et les Alpes-Maritimes, puis en Corse-du-Sud. Des prospections ponctuelles ont permis ensuite de verifier son etablissement dans les Bouches-du-Rhone, l'Herault jusqu''aux Pyrenees-Orientales, temoignant de sa grande faculte d''expansion et sans doute revelateur d''une introduction anterieure a 2011. Le tres grand nombre d'especes de psylles vivant sur les eucalyptus australiens impose de la vigilance quant a l'identite de celles susceptibles d'etre decouvertes a l'avenir sur notre territoire, notamment : Eucalyptolyma maideni, Ctenarytaina longicauda, Cryptoneossa triangula, Cardiaspina fiscella, Creiis lituratus et Anoeconeossa communis qui ont deja envahi d'autres parties du Monde. Des elements de reconnaissance et de biologie sont donnes. La nuisibilite et les moyens de lutte sont abordes.
