Abstract

The aim of this research is to learn how to be a good German teacher in line with the opinions of German Teaching Students. Is the answer to the question? For this purpose, the main problem sentence is "What are the opinions of the German teacher candidates about the characteristics of a good German teacher?" “How do you think the characteristics of a good German teacher should be?” The question has been posed. This study was designed with qualitative research method and phenomenology design. German Teacher Education Faculty in Turkey in the universe of the study are a teacher training candidates, the sample of the Haci Bektas Veli Nevsehir University Faculty of Education teaching German part in the training area consists of 10 teachers. The data collection tool in the study consists of 1 semi-structured interview form. The data were collected in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. Content analysis method was used in analyzing the data. In the study, Codes and Themes were determined in the light of the answers given by the participants, and the participants' expressions that formed these Code sand Themes were directly included. In the light of the data obtained from the participants, it was concluded that a good German teacher should have the ability to encourage her students to learn and speak German by using different and rich methods in German lessons and to transfer the lessons at a level that students can understand. It isthought that this study will be beneficial for German teachers and prospective German teachers

Bu araştırmanın amacı Almanca Öğretmenliği Öğrencilerinin görüşleri doğrultusunda “nasıl iyi bir Almanca Öğretmeni olunur?” sorusunun cevaplanmasıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ana problem cümlesi “Almanca Öğretmen adaylarının iyi bir Almanca Öğretmeni özelliklerine yönelik görüşleri nelerdir?” olarak belirlenmiş ve katılımcılara “Sizce iyi bir Almanca Öğretmeninin özellikleri nasıl olmalıdır?” sorusu yöneltilmiştir. Bu çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemiyle ve olgu bilim deseninde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Türkiye’deki Eğitim Fakültelerinde Almanca Öğretmenliği eğitimi alan öğretmen adayları, örneklemini ise Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Almanca Öğretmenliği bölümünde eğitim alan 10 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmadaki veri toplama aracı, 1 adet yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formundan oluşmaktadır. Veriler 2020-2021 eğitim yılı güz dönemi içerisinde toplanmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada katılımcıların verdikleri cevaplar ışığında Kodlar ve Temalar belirlenmiş, bu Kodları ve Temaları oluşturan katılımcı ifadelerine de doğrudan yer verilmiştir.Katılımcılardan elde edilen veriler ışığında iyi bir Almanca Öğretmeninin Almanca derslerinde değişik ve zengin metotlar kullanarak öğrencilerini Almancayı öğrenmeye ve konuşmaya teşvik etmesi ve dersleri öğrencilerin anlayacağı seviyede aktarabilmesi özelliğine sahip olması gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın Almanca Öğretmenlerine ve Almanca Öğretmen adaylarına faydalı olacağı düşünülmektedir.
