Abstract

The textbook has three main sections that make up the basis of thermal engineering: engineering thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, fluid dynamics. General professional competence is formed for the study of basic topics of heat, used in the study of special subjects. Engineering is based on a set of knowledge and skills received at studying of such disciplines as mathematics, physics, theoretical mechanics. Purpose and scope of the curriculum will determine the content of the textbook. The textbook is composed in accordance with the programs of educational disciplines: "Technical thermodynamics", "Heat transfer" and "fluid Dynamics". Designed for students majoring 140101 "Thermal power plants", 140104 Industrial heat power engineering, 140106 "energy Supply companies", students of the bachelor 140100 "heat and Power engineering and heat engineering", and can also be useful for students studying the issues of heat in other specialties and areas of training University.
