The concept of Inclusive education is accepted as an efficient means for realizing the dream of “Education for All”. In its broadest and all encompassing meaning, inclusive education, as an approach, seeks to address the learning needs of all children, youth and adults with a specific focus on those who are vulnerable to marginalization and exclusion. It implies all learners, young people - with or without disabilities being able to learn together through access to common pre-school provisions, schools and community educational setting with an appropriate network of support services.It refers to the education of all children with special needs along with their normal peers in the regular school. Learning is evolutionary which happens over a period of time. Time is required to learn new concepts to exercise new skills, to recognize and to establish new ways of doing things differently by different students. Inclusive education is based on the right of all learners to a quality education that meets basic learning needs and enriches lives. The ultimate goal of inclusive quality education is to end all forms of discrimination and foster social cohesion. Thus, inclusive education lays the foundation to an inclusive society accepting, respecting and celebrating diversity.
