Abstract

This work is devoted to the study of existing methods for finding the distance to audio signal sources, in particular the TDoA method and the development of the program code of this method. The research set the following goals: 1) The study of methods for finding the distance to the sound source; 2) Method selection and theoretical explanation of the method; 3) Implementation of digital audio signal processing and verification of its operability; 4) Analysis of the results of the work. In the course of the conducted research in the selected subject area, an overview of existing methods for finding the distance to the sound source was conducted, their analysis was carried out and one of them was selected based on the task statement. A detailed description of the chosen method was given, on the basis of which a mathematical model was obtained. As a practical part of the work, a program code was developed to demonstrate its operation. As a result, the received program was tested and a conclusion was made about its effectiveness.
