Abstract

Artykul koncentruje sie na mozliwości etycznego odczytania Morfiny Szczepana Twardocha, odwolując sie jednocześnie do szerszego tla wspolczesnej refleksji nad etyką literatury. Jego celem jest ukazanie związku etycznego czytania z problematyką podmiotowości ponowoczesnej i jej szeroko rozumianej wielojezyczności, ktora w przypadku powieści Twardocha przejawia sie zwlaszcza w konstrukcji narratora i bohaterow. W tym celu zostają wykorzystane m.in. narzedzia charakterystyczne dla interpretacji inspirowanej egzystencjalizmem, szczegolnie filozofią Sorena Kierkegaarda, ktore pozwalają na zarysowanie nie tylko sytuacji etycznej bohaterow, ale takze aksjologii związanej z aktem jej interpretacji.
