Abstract Careful examination of morphological characters, color patterns, and advertisement calls strongly supports the placement of Dendropsophus allenorum (Duellman and Trueb, 1989) (Cuzco Reserve Frog) into the synonymy of Dendropsophus timbeba (Martins and Cardoso, 1987) (Cardoso's Treefrog).
