PASTABOS APIE ROLANDO PAVILIONIO NEVERBALINIO KONTINUUMO IDĖJĄ

Abstract

Straipsnis skiriamas Rolando Pavilionio pasiūlytos „nenutrūkstamos neverbalinės konceptualios sistemos“, arba „neverbalinio kontinuumo“, hipotezės aptarimui. Apžvelgiamos neverbalinio kontinuumo hipotezės idėjinės ištakos bei konceptualinės prielaidos, Pavilionio koncepcijos sąsajos suW. Quine’o teorija bei šiuolaikinėmis modalinėmis semantikos koncepcijomis. Galiausiai bendrais bruožais aptariamas jos santykis su šiuolaikine analitine filosofija. Pavilionio filosofinė kūryba dažniausiai pagrįstai priskiriama analitinei tradicijai, į kurią ji sklandžiai įsilieja, tačiau atsižvelgiant į autoriaus intencijas, ji negali būti vienareikšmiškai įsprausta į šios tradicijos rėmus ir veikiau yra persmelkta pastangos rasti sąlytį tarp analitinės kalbos filosofijos ir hermeneutinės tradicijų, įveikti neretai dogmatiškai primetamą šių tradicijų perskyrą.
