Abstract

Los menores extranjeros no acompañados y jóvenes extutelados son menores que migran sin la compañía de un referente adulto e irregularmente a Europa, donde son acogidos en recursos residenciales de los países receptores. Desde hace más de una década, protagonizan noticias que pueden llegar a ocasionar rechazo por la sociedad. A menudo se publican imágenes que muestran problemas de convivencia, posiblemente derivados de las dificultades con las que se encuentran para ser incluidos en la sociedad. A pesar de haber sido un foco mediático en muchas ocasiones, existe un gran desconocimiento sobre ellos por parte de la población, esto desencadena habitualmente en situaciones de exclusión, ya que se les criminaliza y estigmatiza, dificultandoles cubrir necesidades básicas como son el empleo o la vivienda. El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar una revisión sistemática de la literatura publicada en el periodo 2012-2022 sobre los estudios que abordan la inserción de menores y jóvenes migrantes en las bases Web of Science, Scopus, Dialnet y Proquest, con la finalidad de conocer cuál es su situación en España y que se está trabajando para favorecer su inclusión. Los hallazgos confirman la escasez de estudios orientados a la mejora de la inclusión social de la adolescencia y la juventud migrante. Se discuten posibles líneas de investigación que mejoren la intervención socioeducativa, y con ello, la calidad de vida logrando oportunidades de inclusión.
