Opozycja SWÓJ – OBCY utrwalona w czeskiej frazeologii

Abstract

Językowy obraz świata obejmuje stereotypy, czyli uproszczone oceny, sądy wartościujące. Z jednej strony są to obrazy negatywne, które odzwierciedlają uprzedzenia, z drugiej zaś to obrazy pozytywne. Na stereotypach utrwalonych w języku opiera się opozycja SWÓJ – OBCY. Ma ona charakter aksjologiczny, gdyż jest wyrazem podziału: SWÓJ to ten dobry, OBCY zaś to ten zły. Opozycja ta jest podstawową opozycją w czeskiej frazeologii i odzwierciedla potoczną interpretację świata, ukształtowaną przez antropocentryzm, zgodnie z którym koncepty kształtują się na zasadzie opozycyjnych kategorii semantycznych, np. człowiek – zwierzę, życie – śmierć, Czech – obcokrajowiec, zdrowy – chory, młody – stary, piękny – brzydki itd. W analizowanym materiale antynomiczność przejawia się w zestawieniu przeciwstawnej charakterystyki swój – obcy jako: przyjaciel – wróg, opiekun – prześladowca, oddany – obojętny, dobroduszny – podstępny, podobny do mnie – różny ode mnie.
