Telecollaboration: Where Are We Now?

Abstract

This paper presents the results of a European-wide survey regarding the practice of foreign language telecollaboration or Online Intercultural Exchange (OIE) in higher education. The survey was carried out as part of a European project, INTENT (Integrating Telecollaborative Networks into Foreign Language Higher Education) which was awarded funding by the European Commission's Lifelong Learning programme primarily to achieve more effective integration of telecollaboration in university institutions.
