The legal situation in regard to the profession of psychotherapy is not clear. At this time it implies critical analysis of new therapeutic approaches that ponder the interests of the client. Taking into consideration the ethical principles that apply to psychotherapists, the authors reflect on the ethical correctness of the therapeutic concept. This seems to conflict with the client's own value system, which goes against the duty of respecting the principle of therapist neutrality. These considerations are based on the proposal of a new therapeutic method which we refer to as integrative psychotherapy: a Christian approach. In the background we take an axiological reflection on the foundations of psychotherapy.

Niejasna sytuacja prawna zawodu psychoterapeuty implikuje konieczność analizy i krytyki nowych metod terapeutycznych w trosce o dobro klienta. Autorzy, w kontekście zasad etycznych obowiązujących psychoterapeutów, zastanawiają się nad etyczną słusznością koncepcji terapeutycznej, która wydaje się ingerować w system wartości klienta zapominając o obowiązku zachowania neutralności światopoglądowej psychoterapeuty. Rozważania oparte są na propozycji nowej metody terapeutycznej jaką jest psychoterapia integratywna w podejściu chrześcijańskim. W tle podjęta zostaje refleksja dotycząca aksjologicznych podstaw psychoterapii.
