OTA enabled 147.4 Gb/s eCPRI-equivalent-rate radio-over-fiber link cooperating with mmWave-based Korea Telecom 5G mobile network for distributed antenna system

Abstract

We demonstrate an over-the-air (OTA) based 4×4 MIMO distributed antenna system with a radio-over-fiber that provides 147.4-Gb/s eCPRI-equivalent-rate, achieving ∼4 Gb/s data throughput per cell in conjunction with Korea Telecom 5G mobile network employing mmWave.
