Abstract

We characterize the generalized Gegenbauer polynomials, then we provide a closed form of the the generalized Gegenbauer polynomials using Bernstein basis. We conclude the paper with some results concerning integrals of the generalized Gegenbauer and Bernstein basis. Mathematics Subject Classification: 33C50, 33C45, 05A10, 33B15
