Abstract

The article examines the nature and content of linguistic expertise in law-making as a complex linguistic research; research target and customers of conducting expertise are identified. The mechanism of regional experience of linguistic expertise, and some problematic aspects related to the allocation of this type of expertise as independent are studied. The features of the linguistic expertise in the framework of legal one are presented and their relationship is traced. The need for obligatiry conduct of linguistic research in law-making at both the federal and regional levels is assessed.
