This paper describes the study of a number of issues relating to professional self-determination of psychology students. The role of «I»-concept of the individual in choosing a career, and preferred activities in the profession of a psychologist. The model of the influence of the «I»-concept in a permanent process of professional self-determination of psychology students is offered.
