The paper presents the parallelization process of a wave propagation application using the PANDORE environment. The PANDORE environment has been designed to facilitate the programming of data distributed applications for distributed memory computers or clusters of workstations. The compilation schemes are described and the distribution of the well known Jacobi kernel is detailed. Finally, the different steps of the parallelization of the wave propagation application are described and the results of this experiment are discussed.
