This paper reports the discovery of a ring galaxy which has a very low surface brightness. Although its intrinsic luminosity and diameter indicate that it may be a dwarf galaxy, the possibility is suggested that it is a ring galaxy in its later stages of evolution. It is also shown that the rich cluster A 1270 located near the ring is a background object with a redshift of 0.0704.
