
Abstract This chapter focuses on the taxonomy, origin and distribution and effects of soil and climatic factors on the ecology of mango. The morphology, physiology, cultivar development, propagation, cultivation, irrigation, pruning, fertilizer application, flower induction and weed, pest and disease management are discussed. The harvesting and postharvest handling of fruits and their marketing and utilization are also highlighted.
