The paper briefly discussed the main pests of sugarcane in China, and the integrated pest management, including: plant quarantine, cultural control, physical control, biological control, chemical control and sex pheromone techniques. All these methods must be organically integrated, the cultural control being taken as basis, natural enemies being utilized and protected in particular, biological control and chemical control being well coordinated, an suitable environment being created which is suitable for sugarcane growth but not for pest occurrence, in order to control the pests under the economic threshold and leads to sugarcane with high yield and sugar recovery.
