The author makes an exhaustive and pertinent analysis of Turing's essay [\textit{A. M. Turing}, ``Computing machinery and intelligence'', Mind 59, 433-460 (1950)] emphasizing the flaws and the limits of the famous test. However, in developing this analysis, the author deviates from the aim of Turing's essay. The alternative suggested by the author is not convincing.
