Futurists depict the process plant of tomorrow as entirely digital, with advanced software simulating every aspect of molding before machines are switched on and controlling them in real time when production begins. The vision is close to reality for processors who, through select machine suppliers, have access to enhanced digital process capabilities that keep molding error‐free, on spec and predictable.
