Abstract

The paper describes concept of gifted children, problem of their identification and education, musical training of gifted children in the world, teachers’ role in identifying gifted children, their attitude towards work with the gifted children. Bachelor’s paper is aimed to disclose peculiarities of music teacher’s work with gifted children in the primary school. In order to achieve the aim, the following tasks were set: to find out signs of gifted child, to make clear ways of identification, to analyse specificity of training of gifted children, problems in the music lesson, to describe teacher’s role in identifying and training the children in the primary forms, to review the most important competences of music teacher necessary for work with the gifted children, to perform empirical research in order to disclose peculiarities of music teacher’s work with gifted children in the primary school, to analyse and summarize the study results. Subject of the study is activities of music teacher in training gifted children in the primary forms. The study was carried out in the primary forms of Šiauliai city and district. Questioning survey was used to find out how teachers recognize the gifted children, what means they apply in training them.

Darbe aptariama gabių vaikų sąvokos samprata, identifikavimo ir ugdymo problemos, gabių vaikų muzikinis ugdymas pasaulyje ir Lietuvoje, pedagogų vaidmuo identifikuojant gabius vaikus bei mokytojų požiūris į darbą su gabiaisiais. Bakalauro darbo tikslas – išsiaiškinti muzikos pedagogo darbo su gabiais vaikais pradinėje mokykloje ypatumus. Darbo tikslui pasiekti išsikelti šie uždaviniai: išsiaiškinti gabaus vaiko požymius; išsiaiškinti identifikavimo būdus; išanalizuoti gabių vaikų ugdymo specifiką, problemas muzikos pamokoje; aptarti mokytojo vaidmenį identifikuojant ir ugdant gabius vaikus pradinėse klasėse; apžvelgti svarbiausias muzikos mokytojo kompetencijas, reikalingas darbui su gabiais vaikais; atlikti empirinį tyrimą siekiant nustatyti muzikos pedagogo darbo su gabiais vaikais pradinėje mokykloje ypatumus; išanalizuoti ir apibendrinti tyrimo duomenis. Tyrimo objektas yra muzikos mokytojo veikla, ugdant gabius vaikus pradinėse klasėse. Tyrimas atliktas Šiaulių miesto, bei rajono pradinėse mokyklose. Anketinės apklausos metodu siekta sužinoti, kaip mokytojai atpažįsta gabius vaikus, kokių ugdymo priemonių imasi juos mokant.
